Unmanned Truck Makes a Splash at Safety Meeting
Associated Press
TROY, N.Y. —
A concrete company’s safety meeting was interrupted when one of the company’s unattended trucks rolled 50 yards across a street, over an embankment and into the Hudson River, officials said.
A passing motorist called police Wednesday to report a vehicle going into the river.
Fire and police officials found only tire tracks in freshly fallen snow.
At nearby Clemente Latham Concrete, officials quickly took a head count and determined that no one was missing.
