Idaho State Beats CSUN Women in Overtime
Lynda Amari had 16 points, 10 rebounds and four steals, but Cal State Northridge lost to host Idaho State, 73-64, in overtime of a Big Sky Conference women’s basketball game Monday night.
Northridge (7-5, 1-1 in conference) overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to send the game into overtime, but the Matadors were outscored, 12-3, in the extra period after making one of seven shots.
Northridge shot 30.8% for the game and Idaho State made 33.3% of its shots.
Neda Milic scored 16 points for the Matadors.
Point guard Edniesha Curry had 10 points and five assists for Northridge, but also committed 11 turnovers.
Five players scored in double figures for Idaho State (3-9, 1-1), topped by Angela Munger’s 19 points. Mandi Carver had 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Bengals.
