10-Best-Movie Lists
I respect the acuity of Kenneth Turan’s judgments and critiques. I was, therefore, quite disappointed when I saw his list of the 10 best films of the year (“ ‘Truman Show’ Was Definitely the One to Watch,” Dec. 27).
Neither he nor Kevin Thomas mentioned “Bulworth.” When I first saw it, I was impressed by its substance. I wondered how the film ever got by “Big Brother,” or at least our version of it, for it dares to raise questions that are normally taboo in our corporate media. This alone should qualify it for serious consideration for best film of the year.

Thank you, Calendar, for printing the 10 best movies lists of Kenneth Turan and Kevin Thomas. It reaffirms my long-felt feelings that reading their reviews is a complete waste of time.
