* LONG BEACH STATE (6-7, 3-0) at NEW MEXICO STATE (9-5, 2-0), 9 p.m., ESPN--Unbeaten after three conference games for the first time in 18 years, Long Beach plays in front of a national television audience in the first of four consecutive road games. The 49ers got 39 points from junior forward Mate Milisa in victories over Nevada and Utah State last week in the Pyramid. Down the road, New Mexico State opened conference play with wins at Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine, getting 15 points in each game from senior forward Charles Gosa, who made 74% of his shots.
