June Liu was recently appointed assistant city manager. Liu has worked for the city’s Recreation Department for 13 years, most recently as the recreation services manager. She served as acting assistant to City Manager Mark Ochenduszko last October when Karen Wylie left to take a similar position in Mission Viejo.

Also, Alice Angus, former city planner, has been appointed community development director. Angus has worked in community development for 20 years. She fills the spot left open when former director Chris Kelly accepted the director’s position for Brea in October.
