LA HABRA
Former City Council candidate Lynton Hurdle has introduced a quarterly political newsletter. The La Habra Political News is intended to inform readers how city government conducts the community’s business, Hurdle said, especially since the city does not have televised council meetings.
“We’re hoping it will encourage more community participation,” he said. The newsletter’s staff of about 10 residents will write objective and timely articles, Hurdle said. The newsletter is free. Information: (714) 879-8347.
