TU B’SHEVAT SEDERS: Three Tu B’Shevat Seders, the Jewish celebration of the seasons, will be held Sunday. The occasion is often marked by tree-planting. BIBLE LITERACY COURSE: A five-week course on “Bible Literacy” focusing on the Book of Genesis and discussing the most important people, events and ideas of the Bible. A different topic will be covered each week, starting with “Adam and Eve, the Garden of Eden, and Cain and Abel.” The course begins at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Conejo Jewish Academy, 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills. TALMUD STUDY DAY: Temple Beth Hillel, 12326 Riverside Drive, Valley Village, will sponsor “Talmud Made Easy,” an adult study day with Rachel Adler, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 6. Adler is an assistant professor of Jewish religious thought and feminist studies at Hebrew Union College and an assistant professor of religion at USC.
