Work of Winning Artists on Display at Bank

* The Oxnard Art Assn. has announced the winners of its juried show “Winter Grey: Black & White,” which is on exhibit at Channel Islands National Bank in Oxnard. They are:

* Best of Show Theme--”Jan’s Place” by Mel Rhodes.

* First prize--”Big Wave” by Robert Engle.

* Second prize--”Cityscape” by Hannalore Hombordy.

* Third prize--”California Style Winter” by Mary Ann Bednar.

The exhibit will continue through Wednesday. The bank is at 2nd Avenue and A Street.

Ojai Valley Library Foundation Gets $500

* The Ojai Valley Library Foundation received a $500 contribution from Friends of the Oak View Library. The money will be used to support the foundation’s SchooLinks Homework centers, which are operated at the Ojai, Meiners Oaks and Oak View branches. The centers provide students with homework assistance and guidance in using print and electronic resources.
