City officials will present information on how services will be provided in Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills after annexation at the sphere-of-influence task force meeting Wednesday. Officials also will address the preservation of the individual identities of the Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills communities.
“[Residents] wanted the city to report back on what impact annexation would have on their identity,” said Mark Pulone, assistant to the city manager. “Essentially, it doesn’t have any impact.” Pulone said that the annexation areas would be able to keep their names and postal addresses. The task force meets at 5 p.m. in the Portola Hills Elementary School multipurpose room, 19422 Saddleback Ranch Road, Trabuco Canyon.
