Won Takes Lead at AJGA Event
Ron Won of Irvine shot three-under-par 69 in 30-mph winds Friday to take a one-shot lead after the third round at the AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions at the Ohio State University Golf Course in Columbus.
Nico Bollini of Yorba Linda is five shots back after shooting 74 on the 7,071-yard course.
In the girls’ division, Angela Rho of Fullerton is tied for sixth and trails Danielle Downey of Spencerport, N.Y., by five shots after shooting 75. Candie Kung of Fountain Valley is alone in ninth after shooting 76.
