Because personal technology is transforming our lives dramatically, The Times is expanding its coverage of the subject.

The new Thursday “Cutting Edge: Focus on Personal Technology” is designed to help you navigate the fast-changing worlds of cyberspace, consumer electronics, personal computing and telecommunications. It will serve as an addition to our special Cutting Edge section on Mondays.

Monday’s pages will continue to include personal technology coverage, and they will add more coverage of new technologies, tech investing and the business of technology.

Some columns that had appeared regularly on Mondays, such as Gamers’ Corner and Telecom Talk, will now appear Thursdays.
