* A Manufacturers Technology Conference, sponsored by the Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County, will be held from 7:30 a.m. to noon Friday in the Orchid Room of the United Food & Culinary Workers building, 816 Camarillo Springs Road, Camarillo.

* A food safety training seminar will be offered in Spanish, presented by the Ventura County Environmental Health Division, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. or 2 to 5 p.m. July 26 at the Grant R. Brimhall Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. The free course does not provide certification in food safety.
