Onyx Acceptance Corp.: The Foothill Ranch automobile finance company reported that net income for the second quarter more than doubled to $2.4 million, or 37 cents a share, from $1.1 million, or 17 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue advanced 66% to $22.7 million from $13.7 million.
