Residents of eastside communities that may soon be annexed into the city will have the chance to question local leaders at a town hall-style meeting. The Sphere of Influence Community Task Force, which will conduct the meeting, met Wednesday to plan the details. Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills residents on the task force are advising the city on a plan for annexation of those communities.
City officials will explain how annexation would affect parks, police, trash collection and other services. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 5 at Foothill Ranch Elementary School, 1 Torino Drive.
