Accordion mania will prevail when Louisiana is transplanted to Long Beach for the 13th annual Southern California Cajun & Zydeco Music-Dance-Food Festival. The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium celebrates its annual Whale Fiesta, which coincides with the completion of another whale-watching season. The celebration begins with the building of a life-size sand sculpture of a humpback whale. There will also be a Cetacean Sand Sculpture contest for families. The event will include lectures, slide shows, puppet shows, arts and crafts for children, and exhibitor booths.
