Undercover Police
* Re “Officers Easily Blend Into School Drug Scene,” June 3: I’m sure LAPD Capt. Kirk Albanese’s intentions are good. But his statement that “seated next to you, in front of you, or behind you in a class may be a Los Angeles police officer” reminds me of my recent trip to Cuba. There is the assumption and presumption that everyone next to you is a policeman until proven otherwise. Thus, everyone fears the other. Scary proposition, Capt. Albanese.
