PLACENTIA
A committee made up of city and school officials and community activists will meet next week to discuss ways to combat gang activity in the city. The committee is drafting a questionnaire for residents to find out what needs to be done, Councilwoman Maria Moreno said. Based on the feedback, the committee will develop programs to rehabilitate gang members and curb the city’s small but persistent gang presence.
