The trial of the wife of Pasadena Mayor Chris Holden on charges of unlawful sex with a teenage boy has been delayed until March 29.

Pasadena Superior Court Judge Joseph DeVanon moved the trial date to accommodate Michelle Holden’s attorney, Mark Geragos.

Michelle Holden was indicted in July by a grand jury on six felony counts, including unlawful sexual intercourse and oral copulation. She also was charged with two misdemeanor counts of annoying or molesting a child.

She pleaded not guilty to the offenses, which allegedly occurred in early 1998.

Deputy Dist. Atty. Tuppence McIntyre also produced a diary in court that she said belongs to Michelle Holden.

Geragos said the diary “had been stolen from Michelle.”

Chris Holden is one of 10 candidates in the March 9 primary election to be Pasadena’s first elected mayor.
