Ice Dogs Win Sixth in Row

Sean Tallaire scored twice, including an empty-net goal with 31 seconds left, to lead the Long Beach Ice Dogs over the Michigan K-Wings, 3-1, Wednesday night in an International Hockey League game at Kalamazoo, Mich.
The victory was the sixth in a row for the Ice Dogs (39-21-3), who trailed, 1-0, when Marty Flickel scored an unassisted power-play goal at 12:41 of the first period for the K-Wings.
Jaroslav Modry tied it at 3:56 of the second period, and Tallaire put Long Beach ahead at 5:55 of the final period.
