Neighbors opposed to the expansion of Lutheran High School of Orange County will have to wait another two weeks to find out if they can halt the project. City Council members voted unanimously Tuesday to postpone a decision on the proposal until March 23. In the meantime, school officials said they would demonstrate that they can fit more parking on the campus so that neighbors would not have to fight for spaces. The school, at 2222 N. Santiago Blvd., was built in 1970 and holds about 682 students, planners said. The new, phased expansion would nearly double the classroom space; enrollment is projected to reach 950 students. Neighbors said their streets are already clogged with traffic and overflow parking from the school. Information: (714) 744-5500.
