I just wonder how long before the Coliseum Commission goes back on more promises and we lose another football team.

Regarding our new NFL team, why doesn’t the owner go public and sell nonvoting stock to individual investors? I would be bullish.

I now understand why Houston cannot seem to land an NFL franchise: It is a distinct lack of apathy. Houston appears to have an active fan base, an owner who, it seems, is willing to spend whatever it takes to land that franchise, and even the promise of public money. Los Angeles, on the other hand, is the home of the “leave early to beat the traffic,” “you can see it better on TV,” “whaddyamean the Rams left town?” fan.

Guess who will get the franchise.
