Tim Herron and Davis Love III took different routes Saturday in the Bay Hill Invitational at Orlando, Fla., but wound up where they started--tied for the lead.

Herron pushed his streak to 37 holes without a bogey with nearly flawless play from tee to green for a five-under-par 67. Love matched him with a birdie on the final hole, his eighth of the day in a wild third round of three-putt bogeys, clutch pars and great driving.

Both are at 14-under 202, with Tom Lehman closing fast.

Lehman, coming back strong after three months away for shoulder surgery, keeps getting better with each round. He also managed to avoid a bogey on hard greens that have been baked by a week of sunshine. Four birdies over the last seven holes gave him a 66 that put him one shot behind the leaders.

Karrie Webb of Australia shot a three-under 69--her third consecutive score in the 60s--to take a two-shot lead over Lorie Kane in the Standard Register Ping tournament at Phoenix.

Webb, seeking her third championship in six tournaments, was steady and untouchable on a day when wind and pavement-like greens took a toll on most of her challengers.

Hubert Green and Gil Morgan combined for a five-under 67 to take a three-stroke lead after two rounds of the Legends of Golf best-ball seniors tournament at St. Augustine, Fla.
