FULLERTON
The Airport Advisory Committee has postponed a review of a private firefighting company’s proposal to move its operation into the Fullerton Municipal Airport. Air Resources Helicopters Inc. asked to return to the committee next month with a more detailed proposal, airport manager Rod Propst said.
The company, now headquartered at John Wayne Airport, operates a 24-hour air-ambulance service and does water drops, charter works for movies and search-and-rescue missions. The company has proposed leasing at least a 50,000-square-foot building for its aviation firehouse, maintenance facility and living quarters, Propst said.
The committee will still have its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave. Information: (714) 738-6323.
