Moorpark 13, Cuesta 2--Jaclyn Aranda (21-6) pitched a four-hitter and hit a home run as the Raiders completed a rise from last place in the Western State Conference Northern Division a year ago to conference champions at Cuesta.

Delaina Talili hit a two-run home run and scored two runs for Moorpark (30-9, 15-3).

CS Northridge 11, New Mexico 8--Mike Rainer (2-0) allowed one hit through five innings at New Mexico. Tim Arroyo and Jeremy Sickles homered for Northridge.

Cal Lutheran 6, Chapman 2--Brad Smith hit a grand slam and the Kingsmen snapped Chapman’s 17-game winning streak in a UC San Diego tournament round-robin game.

Pierce 5, Canyons 2--Wes Crown allowed seven hits and two runs over 7 1/3 innings for the host Brahmas, who snapped a five-game WSC losing streak.

Glendale 21, Valley 1--Matt Hellman hit two home runs and the Vaqueros pounded 21 hits in a WSC Southern Division victory.

Oxnard 8, Hancock 7--Wes Munyon’s two-run home run in the seventh provided the difference for the Condors (14-22, 8-14) in a WSC Northern Division game.

Ventura 15, Santa Barbara 8--Nick Gontmaher had six RBIs and Kurt Probasco had four RBIs for Ventura (22-16, 12-10) in a WSC Northern Division game.
