2 Palmdale Men Convicted in 1998 Fatal Shooting

Share

Two Palmdale men were convicted Friday of shooting an acquaintance to death and leaving his bullet-riddled body in a rental car on the Antelope Valley Freeway.

After two days of deliberations, a jury convicted Thomas P. Warren, 30, and Dennis Forsythe Reese, 40, both of Palmdale, of first-degree murder with special circumstances for last year’s slaying of 30-year-old Gabriel Fitussi of Sherman Oaks. The pair were also convicted of conspiracy to commit murder.

Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty, so both men face life in prison without the possibility of parole at their sentencing next month.
