HUNTINGTON BEACH
Huntington Beach City School District trustees authorized staff last week to study whether a bus user fee should be adopted. The district is considering the fee because it will be spending about $140,000 more than what the state provides for fuel, maintenance and drivers. Other districts in the county charge $1 to $2 a day per student.
