The effects of Orange County’s growing diversity will be examined during a public forum from 7:30 to 9 p.m. tonight at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, 4242 Campus Drive. Rusty Kennedy, executive director of the Orange County Human Relations Commission, will be the keynote speaker. The forum also will include panelists from the Orange County Asian & Pacific Islander Community Alliance, Share Our Selves, UC Irvine, Black Chamber of Commerce of Orange County, Southern California Edison and the Times Orange County. The event is part of an ongoing UC Irvine Foundation series, “Getting Smart on the Issues.” Although admission to the forum is free, tickets are required.
