Body of Gunshot Victim Found on Hiking Trail
The body of a man who was shot to death was found Friday morning on a hiking trail about 150 feet from La Tuna Canyon Road.
The identity of the victim, described as a 25-year-old male Latino, was withheld pending notification of relatives, police said.
The body was found about 8:30 a.m. by a hiker on a trail about eight-tenths of a mile west of the 210 Freeway, according to Capt. Kenneth Garner of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division, which is handling the investigation.
