* Paul Vidich has been named executive vice president for strategic planning and business development at the Warner Music Group in Burbank. Vidich, 48, had been a senior vice president with the Music Group since 1994.

He has been responsible for the company’s worldwide acquisitions and investment activities, including Rhino Entertainment and the satellite-delivered music services Music Choice Europe and Music Choice U.S.

* Phil Lofaro has been promoted to senior vice president of production for Walt Disney Feature Animation, Burbank. In his new role, Lofaro will continue to oversee all aspects of production for the studio’s animated features and shorts.

Lofaro joined Walt Disney Feature Animation in 1994 as associate producer of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”

* Intellicell Corp., Chatsworth, has appointed Mark Fruehan as executive vice president of new business development and strategic planning. Fruehan has more than 13 years experience in the wireless telecommunications industry, most recently with CellStar Corp.

Intellicell is a distributor of handsets, accessories and related products and services for wireless manufacturers in the United States and Latin America.

* Litton Industries, Woodland Hills, has appointed Christopher C. Bernhardt as president of its Data Systems division. Bernhardt joins Data Systems from Litton’s Guidance & Control Systems division, where he was vice president of business operations and business development.

Data Systems, with headquarters in Agoura Hills and operations in Ocean Springs, Miss., and San Diego, is a part of Litton’s Information Systems Group.
