The public is invited to tour the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge, inside the Naval Weapons Station, Saturday at 9 a.m. The two-hour tour, given by the volunteer group Friends of the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge, allows people to see colorful species such as the snowy egret and the great blue heron, and the endangered California brown pelican. Meet at the station’s main gate, 800 Seal Beach Blvd., no later than 9 a.m. Bring walking shoes, sunscreen, cameras and binoculars. Information: (562) 626-7215.
