After teaming on the recent “Hard Knock Life” rap tour, Redman and Method Man are doing an album together, with Erick Sermon and RZA each producing half of the sessions. Titled “America’s Most Blunted,” it’s due from Def Jam in October. . . .

Sugar Ray is collaborating with Run-DMC on a track for the latter’s next album, with no release date set yet. . . . The Bangles, still mulling a possible full-scale reunion, will give their first performance together since 1989 with an appearance at the tribute to George Martin at the Hollywood Bowl on June 25, featuring the former Beatles producer conducting the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and various guest pop performers. . . .

The band Harvey Danger, coming off its gold debut that featured the hit “Flagpole Sitta,” is at work on a follow-up. . . . Julian Lennon is booking a U.S. tour to run July 15 to Aug. 20, with an Aug. 12 Los Angeles date. Venue details are being worked out. . . .

L7 will release its new “Slap-Happy” album on its own Wax Tadpole label as a joint venture with Bong Load Records on Aug. 24. The band produced, with Bong Load’s Tom Rothrock and Rob Schnapf mixing.*
