Four teenagers were stabbed Friday night in front of a Fullerton pizza restaurant, officials said.

Three of the victims were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange and were still in surgery at 10:30 p.m., said Fullerton Police Sgt. Tom Conklin. Their conditions were unknown.

“You never know with stabbings,” said Conklin, who wouldn’t release the victims’ names or provide further details.

The fourth victim suffered minor wounds.

There were no suspects in custody by late Friday night, though an investigation was underway.

The stabbings happened at 8:45 p.m. in front of a Papa John’s Pizza parlor in a small plaza at Euclid Street and Rosecrans Avenue. The restaurant was open at the time, the sergeant said.

Conklin would not say how the fight started, though he said a robbery was not involved.
