THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

BREA

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 500 block at 3:14 p.m. Sunday.

* East Imperial Highway: A grand theft was reported in the 1000 block at 5:04 p.m. Saturday.

* West Imperial Highway: A grand theft was reported in the 400 block at 2:56 p.m. Friday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* San Luis Street: A garage door was broken when someone tried to gain access to a home in the 17200 block at 10:11 a.m. Sunday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Hoover Drive: Report of youngsters skateboarding at Circle View School in the 6200 block at 1:41 a.m. Saturday.

PLACENTIA

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: A grand theft was reported in the 100 block at 3:04 p.m. Sunday.

* Langer Drive: Gunfire was reported in the 500 block at 10:57 p.m. Saturday.

* West Santa Fe Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 600 block at 8:55 a.m. Friday.

TUSTIN

* Williams Street: Report of a drunk driver in the 15000 block at 2:05 a.m. Saturday.

* Red Hill Avenue: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 15000 block at 6:10 a.m. Saturday.

* 1st Street and Prospect Avenue: A car accident occurred at 11:28 a.m. Saturday. There were no injuries

YORBA LINDA

* Avenue El Cid: Malicious mischief was reported in the 5000 block at 2:08 p.m. Sunday.

* Yorba Linda Boulevard: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 21000 block at 5:53 p.m. Saturday.

* Shady Lawn Drive: A petty theft was reported in the 6400 block at 10:42 a.m. Saturday.

* Plumosa Drive: A grand theft was reported in the 4600 block at 2:32 p.m. Thursday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

ANAHEIM HILLS

* La Palma Avenue at Yorba Linda Boulevard: Drunken driving was reported at 1:38 a.m. Sunday.

* East La Palma Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 3300 block at 9:05 p.m. Saturday.

* East Santa Ana Canyon Road: A grand theft was reported in the 8100 block at 12:54 p.m. Saturday.

* East Coronado Street: Drunken driving was reported in the 3000 block at 1:44 a.m. Saturday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Monday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster.
