Kennedy 47, Reseda 24--Ruben Zaragoza completed 25 of 38 passes for 399 yards and five touchdowns at Kennedy.
More than half of the yards passing went to James Norris, who had 10 receptions for 207 yards and three touchdowns.
The teams traded scores early.
Reseda (7-3, 2-3) pulled within 21-16 with 2:25 to play before the half when Carlos Hernandez connected with Jason Wagner on a six-yard pass play.
But Norris took a Zaragoza pass, broke two tackles and raced along one sideline for a 53-yard touchdown with 26 seconds to play in the half.
The Golden Cougars (7-3, 4-1) scored 20 consecutive points in the second half.
Sanders Trent had seven receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown, giving him the Kennedy season record of 70 receptions.
