HUNTINGTON BEACH
Members of Ethel Dwyer Middle School, 1502 Palm Ave., screamed their lungs out on the front field during lunch break Thursday to ask smokers to quit for 24 hours in observation of the Great American Smokeout. The annual Smoke Scream is an ear-splitting shouting competition involving students to determine who shouts the loudest message to smokers to break their habit.
