Redlands Coach Jim Walker is pulling out all the stops against second-seeded Mater Dei. “We’ve lit a lot of candles this week,” he said. “We’ve got seven or eight priests coming with us and they’ll be on the sidelines.” But Walker realizes even that might not be enough. Redlands, which has been banged up all season, faces a Mater Dei team that seems to be peaking at the right time. “We’ve got to play the game of a lifetime to stay with them,” Walker said. Redlands hasn’t done much throwing with sophomore quarterback Greg Brock, so the Terriers will rely heavily on the power running of Jose Corrales.
