San Luis Obispo 56, Channel Islands 14--The top-seeded Tigers scored 28 points in a four-minute span of the second quarter on their way to an easy victory at San Luis Obispo.
Four different players scored during the outburst, with running back Matt McCormick finishing the series with a 56-yard touchdown run.
Running back Khaled Elmasri led the Tigers (10-1) with 143 yards and four touchdowns in 17 carries.
Channel Islands (2-9) was limited to 179 yards and six first downs. San Luis Obispo finished with 346 yards.
The Raiders cut the Tigers’ lead to 7-6 when Michael Diggs scored on an 80-yard run.
Channels Islands quarterback David Herrera scored on a one-yard keeper in the fourth quarter.
