Kansas State Routs Missouri

Jonathon Beasley threw for two touchdowns and ran for another and cornerback Dyshod Carter scored twice as No. 9 Kansas State kept its Big 12 title game hopes alive with a 66-0 victory over Missouri Saturday at Manhattan, Kan.
Frank Murphy added two touchdown runs and Adrian Beard recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown as the Wildcats worked out their frustrations from the previous Saturday’s 41-15 loss to No. 5 Nebraska.
Kansas State, 10-1 overall and 7-1 in the Big 12, could win the North Division if Colorado upsets the Cornhuskers on Friday.
Missouri (4-7, 1-7) committed six turnovers and was shut out for the third time in five games. The Tigers trailed, 35-0, after one quarter.
Kansas 31, Iowa State 28--Carl Nesmith blocked Mike McKnight’s 34-yard field-goal attempt with 26 seconds left and the Jayhawks, who almost blew a 10-point lead in the final minutes, held on to beat Cyclones in a Big 12 season finale at Lawrence, Kan.
Joe Garcia’s 29-yard field goal gave the Jayhawks (3-5, 5-7) a 31-21 lead with 4:57 left, but the Cyclones (4-7, 1-7) rallied on an 11-yard touchdown pass from Sage Rosenfels to Michael Bentley, and a fumble recovery gave McKnight a chance to try for a tying field goal.
Texas Tech 38, Oklahoma 28--Kliff Kingsbury threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns and linebacker Kyle Shipley forced a fumble that led to a touchdown as the Red Raiders (6-5, 5-3) rallied and defeated the Sooners (6-4, 4-3) at Lubbock, Texas. Before the game, Tech Coach Spike Dykes announced he is retiring.
Oklahoma State 34, Baylor 14--Terance Richardson returned a punt 52 yards for a touchdown as the Cowboys (5-5, 3-4) scored 24 unanswered second-quarter points and defeated the Bears (1-10, 0-8) at Waco, Texas.
