Assailants Shoot Man, Rob Home
ARLETA —
Two men broke into an Arleta home Monday night, shot one of the residents and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The home-invasion robbery took place just before 7 p.m. in the 10000 block of Arleta Avenue, said Los Angeles Police Officer Jason Lee.
The unidentified victim was shot once in the shoulder and taken to a local hospital, where the man was in stable condition, Lee said.
Both men had shaved heads, and one was armed with a rifle, Lee said.
The men fled in a blue pickup truck adorned with white strips on both sides.
