Thanksgiving Closures
The following schedules will be in effect during the Thanksgiving holiday:
THURSDAY

Bus schedule--A graphic on holiday closures in Wednesday’s Times misstated the MTA’s bus schedule for today. Buses will run on normal weekday schedules.
* Offices: All government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries, schools, recreation facilities and many businesses will be closed.
* Transportation: Metrolink trains will not run. MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules.
* Trash: There will be no trash pickup by city or county refuse workers. City residents whose trash collection falls on Thursdays will have their trash collected Friday. Residents whose trash pickup falls on Friday will not be affected.
FRIDAY
* Closed: Schools and city, county, state and federal offices, courts and libraries.
* Open: Post offices, banks and many businesses.
* Transportation: Metrolink trains will run. MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules.
* Trash: City residents whose trash collection falls on Thursday will have their trash collected on Friday. Residents whose trash pickup falls on Friday will not be affected and should put out their trash.
