Boise State 70, Loyola Marymount 50--Junior guard Clint Hordemann scored 20 points and sophomore forward Abe Jackson added 13 to lead the Broncos at Boise.

Hordemann scored nine of his game high 20 points in the final 9:40 as the Broncos (2-1) went on a 19-7 run. Loyola Marymount is 1-2.

Boise State went on a 14-2 scoring run midway in the first half to take a 31-21 halftime lead.

Loyola Marymount, who was led in scoring by freshman guard Stanley Thorne with 14 points, narrowed Boise State’s lead to 49-43 with 9:40 left in the game. But a field goal by Jackson and a three-point play by Hordemann gave Boise State a 56-43 lead with seven minutes left and the Broncos were never threatened after that.

Loyola shot 33% from the field and converted only 13 of 26 free throws.
