A 22-year-old man was shot to death apparently during a drug deal, police said Tuesday.
Ernesto Morales, of Van Nuys was shot several times about 11:35 p.m. Monday, said Det. Steve Fisk of the Los Angeles Police Van Nuys Division. Morales was transported to Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, where he was pronounced dead at 12:05 a.m., Fisk said.
According to police, Morales had scheduled a meeting with a drug dealer before he was shot on the 7100 block of Sepulveda Boulevard. Witnesses saw a man running from Morales’ car shortly after the shooting, police said, but no one has been arrested.
