FOCUS: ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY NEWS : LA HABRA
The Youth Development Program is providing pre-employment skills for people ages 16 to 21 who have dropped out of high school or have enrolled in an alternative education program.
Operated by the city’s North Orange County Regional One-Stop Center, the program also provides paid work experience. Each youth is required to follow an eligibility process before participating.
The One-Stop Center also has services for all ages, including job search, resume and interview assistance, career planning and English language programs.
