Wet, Wild and Running Out of Time for a Last Splash

It’s nearing the time that Southern California water parks end their seasons. Here are the remaining schedules:

Raging Waters is open daily through Sept. 25, except Sept. 14. In October, the park is open five weekend dates: Oct. 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17.

Raging Waters’ hours through Sept. 25 change five times. Through Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday: 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Sept. 12: weekdays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; weekend, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 13-25: weekdays, noon-7 p.m.; weekends, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Raging Waters (111 Raging Waters Drive, San Dimas, [909] 802-2200): 25 water-themed rides, slides and attractions, including the Wedge, the Vortex and High Extreme. General admission, $23.99; seniors and those under 4 feet tall, $14.99. After 4 p.m., prices are $14.99 and $10.99.

Hurricane Harbor is open daily through Monday and weekends through Sept. 26.

Through Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Weekends after Labor Day through Sept. 26, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Hurricane Harbor (Magic Mountain Parkway exit off Interstate 5, Valencia, [818] 367-5965): 22 water-themed rides, including Black Snake Summit and Taboo Tower. Plus a wave pool and a pirate-themed water play area for young children. General admission, $19; children under 4 feet tall, and seniors 55 and older, $12. Children younger than 2, free.

Wild Rivers Waterpark is open daily through Sept. 12 and weekends through Sept. 26.

Daily through Monday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Sept. 12, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 13-26, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. weekends only.

Wild Rivers Waterpark (8770 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine, [949] 768-9453): Attractions include Wild Rivers Mountain, Thunder Cove, and two wave-action pools for swimming, inner-tubing, bodysurfing and bodyboarding. Ages 10 and older, $23; ages 3 to 9, $18; ages 55 and older, $10; ages 2 and younger, free.
