Florida State fullback William McCray suffered a broken ankle in practice Monday and will undergo season-ending surgery Thursday that will essentially rebuild the ankle, team trainer Randy Oravetz said. The 6-foot, 225-pound junior scored a touchdown in Florida State’s 41-7 victory over Louisiana Tech in the opener and is eligible for a medical redshirt season.
