ORANGE COUNTY FILE : Lecture Series Concludes With Talk on Herman Bavinck
Christ Reformed Church in Anaheim will conclude a free theological lecture series with a talk on Friday from 7 to 10 p.m.
Dr. Ronald Gleason, pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church in Yorba Linda, will discuss the life and work of theologian Herman Bavinck. Bavinck, who lived from 1854 to 1921, is best known for a four-volume work titled “The Reformed Dogmatics.” He taught at the Theological Seminary in Kampen, Holland, and at Free University of Amsterdam.
The class will take place at 900 S. Sunkist St. Two new six-week sessions will begin on Sept. 24 exploring the “Inspiration, Authority and Sufficiency of the Scriptures” and “Theology of the Lutheran Confessions.” Information: (714) 538-1057.
