The first tenant has moved into downtown’s Plaza Almeria. Astra Oil Co. moved its oil-trading business from Long Beach. The $23-million Mediterranean-style construction project began in April 1998. The three-story structure covers a city block.
In addition to shops, restaurants and offices, the complex features 42 two-bedroom townhomes, valued at $300,000 to $400,000.
