Reseda 21, Birmingham 18--Eddie Robinson intercepted a Scott Jensen pass with 30 seconds to play to preserve Reseda’s victory at Birmingham.
Robinson’s greatest contribution, however, was on offense. He rushed 19 times for 147 yards and two touchdowns. His 57-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter put Reseda (3-0) ahead, 21-12.
Reseda blocked three John Wall kicks, including two field-goal attempts. Danny Sandoval returned a blocked punt 63 yards to put Resedea ahead, 14-12, in the third quarter.
Jensen led Birmingham (1-2), completing 16 of 35 passes for 250 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions.
