SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

BREA

* Brea Mall: Reports of a shoplifter at 2:12 p.m. Saturday, and at 2:51 p.m. Sunday.

* West Central Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 400 block at 3:11 p.m. Saturday.

* Southridge Drive: Obscene telephone calls were reported in the 1400 block at 3:15 p.m. Friday.

COSTA MESA

* Bristol Street: Several items of clothing worth $650 were stolen from a store between 4 and 7 p.m. Thursday.

* Newport Boulevard: A wallet and its contents worth $90 were stolen from a car in the 2600 block Friday evening.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Olive Street: Someone stole a wallet in the 16000 block at 12:28 p.m. Friday.

* Kalama River Avenue: Someone used another man’s identification to activate an Internet account in the 10800 block at 8:02 p.m. Thursday.

* Warner Avenue: Someone attempted to use stolen gift certificates in the amount of $1,600 at CompUSA in the 9300 block at 5:50 p.m. Thursday.

FULLERTON

* Deerpark Drive: A missing adult was reported in the 2000 block at 1:06 a.m. Monday.

* East Orangethorpe Avenue: A burglar alarm went off in the 2100 block at 1:29 a.m. Monday.

* Orangefair Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 100 block at 5 p.m. Sunday.

GARDEN GROVE

* South Ivanhoe: Garden Grove police arrested an Anaheim man after a short foot pursuit in the 1700 block at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday. Police were attempting to arrest the suspect on outstanding warrants for spousal abuse, burglary and false identification to police when he fled. He was also charged with resisting arrest and possession of drugs.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Brookhurst Street at Pacific Coast Highway: Three men were seen with a marijuana joint at 3:33 p.m. Friday.

* Lynn Street: Someone stole a truck on the 16600 block at 7:42 a.m. Friday.

* Pacific Coast Highway: Someone egged a residence in the 17100 block Thursday night.

LA HABRA

* South Beach Boulevard: An alarm went off in the 1300 block at 4:16 a.m. Monday.

* West Imperial Highway: Police responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in the 2000 block at 2:07 a.m. Monday.

* West Whittier Boulevard: An alarm went off in the 2600 block at 12:46 a.m. Monday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* East Coast Highway: A cellular phone worth $300 was stolen from a business in the 2900 block Saturday.

ORANGE

* Eckhoff Street: A petty theft was reported in the 800 block at 9:52 a.m. Friday.

* The City Drive: A burglary was reported in the 300 block at 12:03 p.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* Henrietta Circle: Police responded to a call from family members of a 41-year-old female with a medical history who could not be found. The woman was later found in a Bible study class at 11:38 a.m. Thursday.

* North Kraemer Boulevard at Tri City Park: Police responded to a report of someone finding what looked like a human skull in the 2300 block. Police determined it was the skull of an animal at 5:26 p.m. Thursday.

SANTA ANA

* Huntridge Road: A report of vandalism in the 1200 block at 6:43 a.m. on Sunday.

* Linda Lane: A report of a burglary in the 17600 block at 1:27 a.m. on Saturday.

TUSTIN

* Livingston Street: A petty theft was reported in the 14000 block at 4:06 p.m. Thursday.

VILLA PARK

* Santiago Boulevard: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 17000 block at 6:21 a.m. Friday.

* Park Villa Circle: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 10000 block at 10:26 a.m. Friday.

YORBA LINDA

* Avenue de las Estrellas: A petty theft from an auto was reported in the 4600 block at 4:07 a.m. Sunday.

* Yorba Ranch Road: A burglary was reported in the 4900 block at 4:07 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach and Westminster.
