Forum to Focus on Special Education
The Ventura County superintendent of schools office will hold a public forum on special education services next week.
The meeting will take place at Garden Grove Elementary School, 2250 Tracy Ave., Simi Valley from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Bernard Korenstein, director of special education services, will moderate the round-table discussion on statewide achievement tests and the promotion and retention of special education students.
Parents can request Spanish interpretation or sign language. There will also be child care for $5 per family. For more information, call 383-1921.
